These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ResumyAI mobile application ("App") operated by ResumyAI ("we", "our", "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

ResumyAI is an AI-powered resume optimization tool. You upload your resume and paste a job description; the App uses artificial intelligence to generate a tailored, ATS-optimized version of your resume.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You may sign in with Google, Apple, or continue as a guest. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Guest accounts are tied to your device and cannot be recovered if the app data is cleared.

4. Free Tier & Subscriptions

• Free tier: You receive 3 free resume optimizations. Once exhausted, a premium subscription is required.
• Premium subscription: Available as monthly or yearly plans. Prices are displayed in the App before purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Payment: Charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Manage or cancel: Go to your device's subscription settings (App Store > Apple ID > Subscriptions, or Google Play > Subscriptions).
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google per their respective refund policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload resumes or content that you do not have the right to use.
• Use the App to generate fraudulent, misleading, or illegal content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
• Abuse the API or circumvent usage limits.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Optimized resumes are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, you are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before submitting it to employers. We do not guarantee that optimized resumes will result in interviews or job offers.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the resume content you upload. We retain ownership of the App, its design, and underlying technology. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Deleting your account permanently removes your data from our servers. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your device's subscription settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumyAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated results will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
