ResumyAI ("we", "our", "us") operates the ResumyAI mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

a) Account Information

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo (if available). If you continue as a guest, we generate a random device identifier — no personal information is collected.

b) Resume Data

When you upload a resume (PDF), it is transmitted to our servers for AI-powered parsing and optimization. Resume data is stored securely on our servers.

c) Job Descriptions

Job description text you paste into the App is sent to our servers to generate a tailored, optimized resume. Job descriptions are processed in real time and are not permanently stored.

d) Subscription & Purchase Data

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

e) Device & Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage analytics such as screen views, feature usage, and crash reports to improve the App. Push notification tokens are stored solely to deliver notifications you have opted into.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To parse your resume and generate AI-optimized versions tailored to job descriptions.
• To manage your account, subscription status, and optimization history.
• To send push notifications you have opted into (e.g., optimization complete).
• To improve the App through anonymous, aggregated analytics.

3. AI Processing

Your resume and job description data are processed using several premium AI models running in parallel. Each model generates an optimized version of your resume, and the output with the highest job relevance score is selected and delivered to you. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted third-party service providers necessary to operate the App, including cloud hosting, AI processing, subscription management, and authentication providers. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, your account details, resume data, and optimization history are deleted from our systems. You may also contact us at support@resumyai.com for any data-related requests.

7. Your Rights

You may:

• Delete your account — Use the "Delete Account" option in Profile settings. This deletes your account details, resume data, and optimization history from our systems.
• Request your data — Contact us at support@resumyai.com.
• Opt out of notifications — Disable notifications in the App or your device settings.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above.
